Lodz, Poland, March 30, 2008. In the final of the Indesit European Champions’ League 2007-2008 in Lodz (POL), Dinamo Tattransgaz KAZAN overcame Copra PIACENZA in a thrilling five-setter. It’s the first European title for the 8-year old club from KAZAN. In earlier Sunday action, host PGE Skra BELCHATOW finished third, having overpowered Sisley TREVISO in another hard fought duel (3:2). |

Italian champion Sisley TREVISO qualified in extremis for the Final Four of the Indesit European Champions League 2007/2008. The enthusiastic spectators in a completely sold-out ARENA Friedrichshafen saw a exciting five-set victory of TREVISO against defending champion VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN. The Germans won the first match in Treviso 3:2, but it was not enough. At the end TREVISO was just three points better. |
